NaNo '09 - EscapeAltha was sitting under a tree in a forest somewhere near an island where one of the gods she needed to meet with to save the world was located. She was currently running/ hiding from a troop of Anglo- Saxon soldiers. She had no idea where she was, nor what to do. Her companions, Castalia - the one she blamed for getting her into this mess in the first place, and Ignatius - her current love interest. In the past month, she had learned about magical creatures, spells, world - wide politics, and weaponry. She had met mythical and magical creatures, kings, queens, princesses, bards, mages, magicians, sorcerers, necromancers, and ancient beings -NaNo '09 - Escape

The Mansion On Maise StreetEveryone avoided the big old mansion on Maise street. It was big, dark, scary, archaic, rotting, falling apart and in general disrepair. The old couple who lived there was a crude old couple. They shouted at kids on their lawn, yelled at neighbors, were unfriendly, let their dog loose on the postman. Anytime anyone wanted to drop something off at the old mansion, they would leave it at the front gate and call for Mrs. Tilsha. Mrs. Tilsha would run out, brandishing her cane and yelling some random hubaloo about some young whippersnappers disturbing her canning. Or something like that.The Mansion On Maise Street

I got lucky, i got home after midnight, hyped on sugar and was able to start then, but already i feel the procrastination beginning.
But I'm sure we'll both manage in the end.
