I am currently sitting in front of my computer dressed as the cheshire cat. Complete with purple cat ears, nails, striped tight and shirt.

NaNoWriMo... starts in about 3 hours (PST anyway) and I'm am so ready for it. Well, not practically, but mentally (I have no plot), but it's the mentality that counts right? I'm probably either going to go with a cheesy fanasy novel. my nano name is cupcakemichi (how original! ) so you can go buddy me if you feel like it.

I STARTED MY NANO. I have 384 words written, and plan to write more later today. But for right now, I'm going to go to bed, after I ask these questions: What were inportant/significant/unlucky/lucky dates in the medieval era? Which calendar would most people have used? How do you convert the dates? Any other random info on the medieval era?

it's an HP, with windows 7, and intel CORE2 Duo processor, a graphics media accelerator with DirectX10 support, a 17inch 16:9 HD screen, a ton of RAM, a pretty big hard drive. XD
and it makes me happy, very, very, very happy.
and the internet works, and i'm busily downloading all my freeware. XD
chrome, safari, opera, and FF are done. going to go download skins for each of them, some windows themes, and the rest of my software later.

so, needless to say, I'm happy.

also, NaNo is next month. totally ready for it now. XD
except for, you know, a novel idea? i'm not entirely sure what i'm going to write about... oh well. so no one will get to see my laptop until Nov. unless they come over to my house. i'll post a picture later. XDDD

1) yesterday I came home and went to bed, got up to eat, went back to bed. this morning i almost didn't go to school for the PSAT because i didn't feel well at all. 10 cough drops later, I feel TONS better.
2) one of my friends' boyfriend is joining band AND HE'S A FRENCH HORN. YAY.
3) as anyone who's had one knows: YUM. (for the curious: it's not just peanut butter, it's basically a kind of frosting(powdered sugar and milk kind) with peanut butter andd some recipes use butter, too)
4) ~ProcrastinatorsClub will no longer be procrastinated on! (as much!)



oh, but real life now: even though I feel better, I'm still sick. going to get a mask so that I don't get sick again. I'm estimating that ~100 kids are NOT sick at my school.
200+ kids are out from the middle school, 300+ kids are out from the high school. the rest who are sick can't miss because they'll get too far behind.
and I wouldn't be surprised if it is swine flu. like seriously.
OMG I JUST REALIZED THAT I'VE BEEN SICK FOR ALMOST TWO MONTHS WITH TWO DIFFERENT THINGS. >< once just a cold, then whatever I have now.
